An oil spill control station functions as a warehouse for the rescue services and the coast guard for the materiel required for responding to an oil spill. To minimize the damage caused by oil spills, necessary control equipment like oil booms, shovels, absorbents must be made available at short notice.

A stylish and distinctive warehouse design
Compact and economical, the building was designed with logistics in mind. Natural light is funneled into the building through a cantilever, which is located high up to keep the windows protected from forklift spikes and give the building its distinct shape.
The sheet metal cladding bears the signature color of the rescue department. Two integral elements are attached to the material warehouse: a container shelter that serves as an additional warehouse and a paved loading and training field, which supports the functions of the building and enables the rapid transfer of materials.
